Our Story

How did you meet?

We have been friends since middle school and went to high school together. We connected more than just being friends in college. We made us work even though he attended Maryland University and I Attended Anne Arundel Community College.

Who ask who out first?

Patrick asked me out to ice cream.

What attracted you to each other?

Vanessa: I fell for him because he was being so kind to me and made me laugh & smile at a party that he hosted.
Patrick: I fell for her smile and laugh

What is your favorite memory of each other?

Our favorite memory is us going to Vegas for the first time and skydiving together.

What is your favorite way of spending time together?

Vanessa: I love watching OUR favorite TV shows together, Grey's Anatomy & The Last Of Us. 
Patrick: Traveling to new places together 

How did you get engaged?

We got engaged in Hawaii on Road to Hana. It was filled with many stops of jaw dropping views. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I instantly said yes! This was post a 5 mile hike at The National Park. 

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?

We wanted to be near the beach for our wedding and enjoy more than a day of celebration. So we are excited to have a weekend celebration with everyone. We hope to have everyone enjoy this vacation in a place we fell in love with. This resort was chosen for all the amenities for our family, friends, and their children.
